Resurrection: Jesus Rises Again

This presentation focuses more on the event of Jesus’ resurrection. There was an earthquake, Jesus rose, an angel rolled away the stone, soldiers fell then ran, and women came. The angel and Jesus had good news for the ladies and a message for His disciples. Jesus is not dead. He is alive! He will meet you. We, too, have the assurance that we, too, will see Him! Because He lives, we too will live forever with Him! Praise God!

Preparation: Need air dry clay and small condiment containers with lids for craft.

Memory Verses: Matthew 28:6  “…He is risen, as He said…” and John 11:25 “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.”

This Bible Story slide show tells the story of how Jesus brought the Widow of Nain’s son back to life. You can find it in Luke 7:11-17. It includes an a challenge to determine if a person is happy or sad by looking at their eyes. The object lesson and craft is to plant seeds. We bury them and with God’s blessing, water, and sunshine, they spring to life. Decorate the plant pot with verse stickers.

Lazarus’ Death and Resurrection — John 11
