Lights, Camera, ACTION — It’s Drama time!
Skits are so much fun! It’s a great way to involve youth in helping younger kids. Furthermore, kids of all ages love skits!
I hope you enjoy these:
Naomi, Ruth, and A Redeemer — [Narrator and There are 2 parts to this skit. Part 1 is based on the first couple verses of the book of Ruth. I let my creativity reign. And enjoyed imagining what those years might have looked like. Part 2 can stand on it’s own. Most of the dialogue comes straight from the book of Ruth.
Sometimes He Calms the Storm — [3 characters] –This is a musical dramatization to the song, Sometimes He Calms the Storm by Scott Krippayne. It uses material to represent the water.
Fishing with Jesus — [7 boys + ‘extras’]– Jesus has been crucified. Some have seen the risen Lord, but all are wondering what they should do now. Peter suggests that they go fishing. The Lord has a surprise for them….. This skit also includes the Pentecost experience
Saul’s Conversion — [3 Narrators and 8 actors]
Prodigal Child — Puppet Show with 3 puppeteers
Wild Man Transformed Right Mind — Mark 5 — 3 puppeteers
