David becomes King

2 Samuel 5

Left side depicts a biblical scene of David being crowned king with people gathered around him, engaging in a ceremonial act.

God had promised David he would be king. David waited patiently and honored King Saul. After Saul died, there came a time when the people were ready and they crowned David king! In this presentation we get to make a crown and learn more about King David. We learn God gave him many victories and established his kingdom. David conquered Jerusalem and made it his capitol. There he built a palace. We’ll have fun going thru tunnels and building too. God is strong! He strengthens us!

David Anointed and Psalms 23

1 Samuel 16

God tells Samuel to anoint David to be the new king, when it was time. David loved God with all of his heart and praised Him while playing his harp. For the craft, we make our own harps and then play them as we sing. God prepared David for kingship by giving him the Holy Spirit and giving him a job in the palace. God prepares us for what He prepares for us to do.

Triumphal Entry

Hosanna! Jesus Saves and Delivers us!

Option 1

An illustrated worship guide featuring a scene with Jesus and people joyfully proclaiming 'Hosanna!' under palm trees, with scriptural references and craft activity suggestions.

In this newer PowerPoint Presentation, the kids are encouraged to act out the story. The focus is in one of the key words, HOSANNA, which means, save us; deliver us. Many in the crowd had experienced Jesus delivering them from many ailments and even demon possession. They accepted Jesus as Messiah and Savior. However, not everyone did. The leaders wanted to shut up the crowd’s acclamation. But Jesus said if they did, the rock would cry out. Jesus longed for the leaders to understand the truth. He wept over the city and the results of their actions.

Option 2

A colorful graphic featuring the text 'God is Amazing! His Work is Exciting. Praise Him in Song' against a background of palm leaves, and a scene on the right depicting cut-out figures celebrating, including Jesus on a donkey with speech bubbles saying 'Praise God!' and 'Hosanna!'

His Bible story can be found in all the gospels. We’ll have fun praising God in skit or with action figures made by us! God is worthy of our praise! Jesus is amazing! Let’s praise them for all they do.

Judges, Prophets and Kings

The Israelite nation’s first king was God. He used the judges and prophets as His representatives to govern the nation. Yet the people wanted an earthly king. God wasn’t happy with the idea and knew it would give the nation much grief and difficulties, but He consented. Thus began a line of good and bad kings and there was a constant pendulum swing between honoring and dishonoring God.

These interactive PowerPoint presentations give you a platform to tell the stories of these judges, prophets, and kings. They include the Bible text, pictures, activities, music and more.
