Here you'll find an array of activities for elementary children that can be used in Children's Ministry, after-school programs, in the classroom and by homeschoolers.
God’s Word is a timeless book. There are so many awesome stories! They all are part of God’s story, His story is our history — HIStory. In these presentations we look at an overview of the Bible from several perspectives. We’ll also learn the books of the Bible.
It was a perfect creation by a perfect God. But then there was rebellion and sin. Yet God did not give up on His creation. He loves us and wants to be with us. Love found a way. We can be with Him. He will create all things new.
In Psalms 119 David proclaims his delight in the scriptures. It is here we find the verse, “God’s Word is a Lamp to our feet and a light to our path” In this presentation we look at what this means both in the Bible and in our life. We have fun building a maze and going through it in darkness or while blind-folded.
I’ve used the following Google Slide presentations as an important aspect of our time on Zoom. I like that I can show song or special feature videos and move seamlessly into the lesson. The lesson has the scripture and corresponding pictures and interactive reading and activities. Each presentation has 15-20 slides. Check them out. I hope you can use them in your ministry also. I offer them free, just like God’s gift of salvation.
Isaac and his family were definitely not perfect, but then none of us are. Yet God’s promise to his father Abraham was reiterated to Isaac and Jacob. It is into their lineage that Jesus was born. It is God’s passionate desire to heal the sick and brokenhearted, to lift up those who are oppressed or disheartened, and to save everyone from sin and sadness. While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. All we have to do is accept His precious gift and choose to follow Him.
A Wife for Isaac — Genesis 24
Abraham gave his servant a very important task. The servant did exactly what he was told to do. In this presentation we talk about the importance of doing the will of God — loving God and others — serving one another. Rebecca was quick to serve and care for the servant and for his 10 camels! Learn about camels and play along with the story.
Isaac and Rebecca couldn’t have children for 20 years. Isaac prayed for Rebecca and she had twins! They were very different! In this presentation, we play a game called, Would You Rather, which allows kids to choose between 2 activities. We celebrate our differences and affirm that God has created each one of us unique and gives us important things to do. The sad part is that Esau didn’t want the important job that the Birthright involved. He chose to sell it for a pot of stew. We want to accept God’s plan for our lives.
This presentation includes songs, an object lesson, the interactive telling of the Bible story of Jacob and Esau from Genesis 27, a game including truth or lie scenarios, an object lesson about honesty, and a story book about honesty.
