On the Way to the Promised Land the First Time

Numbers 1-13 and Deuteronomy 1

God promised Abraham that that his family would have the land of Canaan. He accurately predicted that they would spend time in Egypt and that he would bring them out. The book of Numbers continues the story of their trip from Mt. Sinai to the Promised Land. Regretfully, faith does not overcome fear. The promise has to wait for 40 years of wandering in the desert, but that is Part 5.
